During the event organized in June 2016 with the contribution of the Varese Chamber of Commerce as part of the project “Sustainability: fundamental driver for innovation” – an initiative focused on innovation for the textile-clothing-fashion sector – we were honored along with 47 other companies for being Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certified for 20 years.
Today, the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certification is the world’s most recognized and established voluntary ecological label for textile products. The Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 mark guarantees that textile products and their accessories do not contain or release substances harmful to human health and are therefore safe from a human-ecological perspective. Oeko-Tex® laboratories verify the presence or release of harmful substances (pesticides, heavy metals, carcinogenic aromatic amines, formaldehyde, allergenic dyes, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, VOCs, etc.) in raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished textile products.
