GOTS CERTIFIED FABRICS
ORGANIC IS a CONSCIOUS CHOICE
- The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the most important certification for organic cotton: it guarantees consumers that organic textile products are obtained in compliance with strict environmental and social criteria, applied throughout the production process: from the harvesting of natural fibers to the labeling of the finished product.
- GOTS certifies: textile products; production activities; chemical products for the textile industry.
- At Berto, we offer a wide range of fabrics made with organic cotton, a type of cotton cultivated using environmentally friendly methods and products. Two of these fabrics are dyed with a special indigo dye.
PIANETA FABRIC
THE SUSTAINABLE AVANT-GARDE
All recycled fabrics by Berto are GRS certified.
The Global Recycle Standard (GRS) recognizes the crucial importance of recycling for the growth of a sustainable production and consumption model. Its goal is to encourage the reduction of resource consumption (virgin raw materials, water, and energy) and to increase the quality of recycled products. The GRS requires the issuance of a third-party verified environmental declaration as evidence of:
- recycled material content in products (both intermediate and finished)
- compliance with environmental and social criteria across all sectors of the production chain.
